Although this photo is captioned “1952”, it must have been taken no earlier than 1955, as that was when Ed first drove for the Garutis, and when Richie Garuti (to the immediate left of Ed in the photo) first built a #28, which according to Richie was “twice the car” of his older brother Ray’s #14.
