1967 – Thompson. Because he has lost a leg, Pete had to use a handbrake and steer with only one hand. This made it difficult for him to drive on asphalt.

1968 – Devil’s Bowl. This car was built primarily for Pete to race at Lebanon Valley, after he had stopped racing Saturday nights at Fonda.
